Lovely white with strong pear notes. Excellent fruity depth, dry but not overpowering. Wonderful value!

Go Liz go. Totally deserved win. None of the three put a foot wrong but she delivered perfection!

I knew this would probably annoy me and I was right. All the sophistication of a cowboy movie where the baddies wear black hats. Seriously, is this the best enviro-disaster thing that the BBC can come up with? Yawn fest. I honestly wouldn't have lasted...

Best ever. South Africa followed by Petrus. Great cooking and a storm-out. Liz FTW.

One of the best programmes on food ever. Should be compulsory viewing for clueless urbanites. Whilst I've always enjoyed Jimmy's Farm, I wasn't expecting much from this. I was completely wrong. The opening espisode was a masterpiece.

This started very badly with a gaggle of incompetent hasbeens annoying me. Now at last 3, it's fantastic. Yes the formula is starting to grate badly but finding a natural cook like Liz warms the cockles of your heart.

I liked this ruby red Italian #wine. Smooth black cherry and raisin flavour with hints of smoke and spice. Good depth. Retails from approximately €15 from O'Donovans Off Licence.
